Landscape painting scrolls, approximately 19 x 70 inches from Taiwan. Chinese painting in general is as seen as an extension of calligraphy and uses the same brushstrokes. Paintings are usually created in ink and watercolor on paper and mounted on silk in different formats, such as scrolls, album leaves and fans. These were donated by Lin, Po Rung, Mayor of Taichung, Taiwan, a San Diego Sister City.
