Oval wooden 12 x 10 plaque presented 12/5/1973 in appreciation of Mayor Wilson's service as a member of the Welcome Point Loma College Committee, signed by W. Shelburne Brown, President. Originally founded in 1902 as Pacific Bible College, it became Pasadena College and later Point Loma Nazarene University. In 1964, W. Shelburne Brown became president of Pasadena College. He was instrumental in moving the college from its original location in Pasadena to its new Point Loma, San Diego, home in 1973.
