Wall hanging made of a 10-inch diameter carved lacquered wood base and red knot tassels. The base holds a round 5-inch diameter jadeite piece surrounded on top by nine round 1-inch diameter jadeite inserts. Each jadeite insert has been etched with Taiwanese symbols. This was donated by Ta-Jon Liu, Director, Taiwan-Republic of China, Coordination Council For North American Affairs, Los Angeles Office. Taichung City, Taiwan, has been a San Diego Sister City since 1983.
