2015 Taiwan Lantern Festival gift box containing a tea set, rice, sake, tea, key chain, ornament and a post card. The Lantern Festival is traditionally celebrated on the 15th day of the first lunar month. Temples throughout Taiwan are festooned with lanterns and hold festive activities. The 2015 Taiwan Lantern Festival was held in Taichung City February 27 - March 15. This was donated by Lin Chia Lung, Mayor of Taichung City. Taichung, Taiwan, has been a San Diego Sister City since 1983.
