Below the portrait is a plate inscribed with the words: Heroe De La Union Centro-Americana, Recuerdo De La 13 Alcades Hondurenos , 6 Febrero 1970. Donated by the Honduras State Dept; occasion information was not provided to the City Clerk's office.
