Lucite paperweight, 3 inches in diameter, with an embedded miniature gold shovel. Congregation Beth Am formed in 1982. In 1994, the Board of Directors purchased the land a for a larger location and operated in a temporary building until June of 1999 when they opened the doors to their new sanctuary on Del Mar Heights Road in Carmel Valley in North San Diego County. This was donated by Congregation Beth Am to commemorate the groundbreaking of their new facility on February 23, 1997.
