Metal plaque attached to a 8 x 10 base that reads 'ANTIUM, ANZIO, von der antike bis zur gegenwart, from it's origin up to the present day, la jolla - May 1991'. It came from F. Romano Gioielleria (Jewelry) in Anzio, Rome, and has a drawing of Romans in a courtyard. Anzio (called Antium in ancient times) is a resort city in Italy well known for its seaside harbor setting, fishing port, and a departure point for ferries and hydroplanes. Donor's name and occasion information were not provided to the City Clerk's office.
