SENIOR PERFORMANCE AUDITOR

Nicole (Niki) Kalmus joined the San Diego Office of the City Auditor in April 2021. Recently, she worked on performance audits of the City’s Towing Program and SDPD Overtime, and the confidential IT Audit of the Fire Department’s Emergency Response Management (9-1-1) System. She also helped develop OCA’s Recommendation Follow-Up Dashboard.

Niki previously worked at the City of San Diego’s Performance and Analytics Department as well as Council District 3. She earned a Master of Public Policy with a concentration in program design and evaluation from the UC San Diego School of Global Policy & Strategy and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and French from the University of Hartford. In her free time, you can find her enjoying a local comedy show or walking her dog along one of San Diego’s many dog beaches.
