SENIOR IT AUDITOR

Valerie Grunsted joined the Office of the City Auditor in January 2024. Prior to joining, Valerie worked for multinational financial services corporations for over 20 years as a Software Developer, Software Configuration Management Administrator, Technical Project Lead, and IT Internal Controls Analyst. Before her private sector experience, Valerie worked for the State of Illinois Department of Children and Family Services as a Child Protection Investigator and Public Service Administrator. She holds a Master of Social Work degree and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Psychology from the University of Illinois.
