PERFORMANCE AUDITOR II

Kayla Edwards joined the Office of the City Auditor in 2022 and has played a key role in notable audits, including Brush Management on City-Owned Land, which received the Association of Local Government Auditors’ Exemplary Knighton Award for best performance audit of an extra-large audit shop in the U.S. and Canada. She also contributed to the Performance Audit of the City’s Contract Management Process, focusing on strengthening oversight.

Before joining the Auditor’s Office, Kayla served as an Associate Management Analyst for the City’s Stormwater Department, where she led process improvement initiatives, supported capital improvement projects, and conducted financial analysis. Kayla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration from CSU San Bernardino.
