Moriah Gaynor
Program Coordinator
Moriah joined the Performance & Analytics Department as a Program Coordinator in September 2022. She is responsible for optimizing the Get It Done system to enhance our residents’ relationship with the City and their engagement with its many services.
Moriah brings experience from several industries as a communicator and project manager. Most recently, as communications director for San Diego City Council District One, she led outreach efforts to ensure residents received timely, accurate, and insightful information. Prior to that, she worked as a project manager at Epic Systems, guiding the installation of new healthcare IT software at hospitals across the nation.
Moriah is passionate about utilizing technology to innovate and improve governments' transparency, accountability, and responsiveness to its residents. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of Florida, and is currently pursuing her Master of Public Administration at San Diego State University. In her spare time, Moriah enjoys attempting to learn how to surf, catching up on the newest season of Survivor, and spending time with Opie, her very adorable and very spoiled dog.
