Information Technology (IT) Security
The Department of IT manages and ensures the security and safety of the City's computing and network resources by:
- Creating, implementing and enforcing IT security policies, procedures, and standards;
- Performing random and planned system audits;
- Educating City employees about cybersecurity (internal and external threats); and
- Performing electronic discovery, also called eDiscovery, in response to California Public Records Act requests, subpoenas or internal investigations.
