The City distributes a portion of its CDBG Entitlement and Program Income funds through a process known as the Annual Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA), which consists of two phases: the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) phase and the Request for Proposals (RFP) phase.

The tentative submission deadline for RFQ responses is October 1, 2018. Only organizations deemed "qualified" via the RFQ phase will be allowed to submit project proposals in the RFP phase. RFQ responses must be submitted via ED Grants.

In the meantime, interested organizations may reference the Annual NOFA RFQ Checklist to prepare for the upcoming cycle. Individuals may also add their name and contact information to theCDBG email distribution list to receive up-to-date information about the Annual NOFA and other related programs.
