The Environmental Services Department (ESD) is actively working to establish a financial assistance program to support residents in need. ESD has requested funding from the General Fund and is also exploring alternative funding sources. This includes the potential for customers to voluntarily contribute additional funds beyond the standard fee schedule to help expand assistance efforts.

Additionally, ESD is assessing available resources to support renters who may require financial aid. The department will continue collaborating with City leaders to develop program options, establish qualifying criteria, and provide updates as they become available.
