UPDATE: Applications are not currently being accepted for the Business Finance Loan Program or the Small Business Relief Fund. In the meantime, we encourage small businesses to review the San Diego Impact Lending Matrix for partner programs and Additional Economic Resources for businesses affected by COVID-19. Also, please see our Business Support and Relief page, which features links to other resources, specifically the federal CARES Act, which offers similar loans and grants.
We are now accepting applications for the CARES Act Revolving Loan Fund, which was launched on Feb. 9, 2021. The CARES Act Revolving Loan Fund provides economic assistance to City of San Diego or City of Chula Vista businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The loans, which range from $25,000-$95,000, are intended to help entrepreneurs adapt their business models to operating under pandemic restrictions, to promote economic resiliency, and to support the retention or creation of jobs.
The purpose of this tool is to identify whether applicants meet minimum criteria of the loan program before they submit a loan application.
