Mary Gerard went on to be the Music Director for The San Diego Young Artists Symphony and Music Director and Conductor for All About Music San Diego. She is celebrated for her success as a violin and viola teacher. She held first violin positions with the San Diego Symphony, the San Diego Chamber Orchestra, the Starlight Theatre Orchestra, and the San Diego Opera Orchestra. Her career also included a professorship in the Music Department at San Diego State University.
