Seamus Kennedy
Seamus Kennedy is the Senior Policy Advisor for Councilmember Jennifer Campbell and is tasked with all land use and development policy for the office and represents the community of Mission Beach.
Seamus came to the office after running Kennedy Mendoza Consultants, a political and fundraising consulting company that had worked with key figures like Congressman Scott Peters, Supervisor David Roberts, Nathan Fletcher, and many non-profits ranging from Rainforest Protection to Arts and Culture and Veterans Affairs. After leading Councilmember Campbell’s campaign in 2018, he chose to serve on her staff in City Hall.
He is a graduate of San Diego State University with degrees in Political Science and History and holds a Masters in Nonprofit Administration for the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame.
He is native San Diegan who had to leave to find how much he appreciated where he’s from and wants to help shape the future for his hometown. He remains committed to the San Diego Padres for reasons passing understanding and is always at Viejas Arena for Aztec Basketball games.
