Lithograph in a 23 x 19-inch frame - The Ballast Point Chinese Fishing Village (1860-1890), by watercolor artist Jay Wegter. From around 1860 to the early 1890's, Chinese immigrants settled the area and constructed a fishing village. Donated by House of Spain, Casa de Espana in San Diego, and the Fort Guijarros Museum Foundation. Donation was arranged by Jesus Benayas, President, House of Spain, for the Mayor's visit at the 210th anniversary of the Battle of San Diego Bay at Naval Base Pt. Loma on April 21, 2013.
