Music box, 4 inches high, with a crystal top and encased etching of a pair of shoes and 'The Little Girl with Red Shoes, Yokohama to San Diego, 2010.6.27'. In Yamashita Park in Yokohama there is a statue of 'The Little Girl with Red Shoes On.' The statue represents the story of a shoemaker and an orphan girl in Yokohama, Japan, and a song that is one of the most famous songs in Japan. The song is called 'Akai Kutsu' ('Red Shoes'). This was presented to the Mayor by the Yokohama Red Shoes Delegation. (San Diego Sister City).
