Lucite 3 x 7-inch paperweight commemorating the groundbreaking for the Sails Pavilion Enhancement Project, which improved the San Diego Convention Center's Sails Pavilion with the construction of a glass enclosure for the east side of the pavilion. Its gleaming white sails high atop the Center has made the facility one of the most recognizable buildings in the world. Sails has 90,000 square feet of space with panoramic views of downtown San Diego and the bay. Donated by the San Diego Convention Center Corporation.
