Pen and cup, 2 inches tall x 2-1/2 inch diameter with a swivel lid holding gold colored paper clips. 'Krugerrand 1979, Fyngoud 1 oz Fine Gold' and 'Presented by the Mayor of Johannesburg' are etched on the top. The Krugerrand is a South African gold coin, first minted in 1967 to help market South African gold and produced by the South African Mint. This was presented to the Environmental Services Dept. for the Mayor by a visiting delegation representing Mayor Isaac Mogase of Johannesburg, South Africa.
