The plate reads: 'Presented to City of San Diego, Commemorating Our North Atlantic / Pacific Cruise 1979-80, Ostlandets Skoleskib'. Christian Radich is a Norwegian full rigged ship, named after a Norwegian shipowner, built for training sailors for the Norwegian merchant navy. Donated 2/4/80.
