Wooden plaque, 10 x 8 inches, with an image of Osaka Castle. The castle is one of Japan's most famous, and played a major role in the unification of Japan during the sixteenth century. The plate below reads: 'Presented by Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Osaka, Japan'. This was presented to Mayor Golding during a visit to Japan as part of the Economic Development Council Trade Mission in 1994.
