Model Japan Airlines Boeing 787 aircraft, 11 inches long x 12 wide x 7 tall, mounted on a 3 x 5 wooden base. The plate has the airline's logo and reads 'Boeing 787, Japan Airline'. This was presented to Mayor Sanders in April 2012 to commemorate JAL's nonstop services between Tokyo Narita International Airport and San Diego Lindbergh Field scheduled to start in December 2012, San Diego's first-ever regularly scheduled nonstop service to Asia.
