Home to a state-of-the-art Visitor and Interpretive Center, the park is operated and maintained by the City of San Diego in close partnership with the Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation. Park Rangers and volunteers provide a wide range of interpretive programming, including tours, hikes, video and slide presentations. With over 5,900 acres, Mission Trails was established in 1974 and is one of the largest urban parks in the country.
