Bronze medallion, 2-3/4 in diameter, commemorating the 16th CISM Judo Championships. In the center are the Conseil International du Sport Militaire emblem, the San Diego Naval Training Center emblem and two men doing Judo. The International Military Sports Council (CISM) is one of the largest multidisciplinary organizations in the world. They organize various sporting events for the armed forces of their 133 member countries. This was donated by the Naval Training Center, San Diego, where the 1987 events were held.
