Wooden 7 x 5-inch plaque with the Coat of Arms of the City of Bulawayo, which includes an elephant (emblem used by Lobengula, the last King of the Matabele, in his royal seal, perpetuating his native title 'Ndlovu' the elephant), three rock rabbits, a cross-crosslet and a banner that reads: SI YE PAMBILI, their motto 'We Go Forward'. Bulawayo is the second largest city in Zimbabwe. Presented by their Mayor, Aldermen and Councillors on July 24, 1979; occasion information was not provided to the City Clerk's office.
