Ingram Ober works as an artist, designer, and educator.  He received his BA from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL, in 1998 and his MFA from Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, CA, in 2003.  During the last 14 years, he has collaborated with his wife and fellow artist Marisol Rendón. They have completed two projects for UMA in South Walton, FL; two public art commissions for the City of San Diego at the Bayside Fire Station and Southcrest Trails Park; a project at Mira Costa College, San Elijo campus; and are working together on a project for Park Social.  Besides his creative practice, Ingram works for the San Diego Community College District as a tenured professor at Palomar College and served as Art Department Chair for five years.  As an artist, he has exhibited with the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego and the California Center for the Arts, Escondido; Southwestern College, Chula Vista, CA; NCECA in Tampa, FL; Ship In The Woods, San Diego; Space 4 Art, San Diego; and upcoming at the Fleet Science Center Museum in San Diego.  He has exhibited at and works closely with The New Children’s Museum (NCM), San Diego, in different programs as an artist, designer, and in public outreach. Ingram also serves on NCM’s artist advisory board/committee. Ingram has presented guest lectures at Mira Costa College, College Art Association (CAA), Claremont Graduate University, and Woodbury School of Architecture,  and served a seven-year tenure as the Director of the Boehm Gallery at Palomar College, San Marcos, CA.
