- DRIVE SMART, WALK SAFE and BIKE WITH CARE. With the growing number of people in San Diego, everyone must take time to travel safely. Don't drive aggressively, use your seatbelts, wear your bike helmet and look both ways when crossing the street. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has excellent tips for careful travel.
