The objective of the Gentri-FRIES campaign is to encourage community members to participate actively in civic processes. Through collaboration with local civic organizations, the campaign centers on artistic expression, integrating into local events to promote voter registration, provide information on candidates and issues, and inspire people to exercise their right to vote through compelling personal narratives. Contribution to pop-ups includes the distribution of "Gentri-fries," comprised of paper goods with community stories, images, and historical findings holding french fries with dipping sauce named after the neighborhoods. By blending art and civic engagement, the campaign aims to stimulate community involvement and dialogue on public health and other societal issues. At the intersection of art, social justice, and civic engagement, the campaign aspires to foster positive change and contribute to building sustainability and resilience.
