The event typically raises just north of $75,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad, with the event’s 42-year total fundraising over $2 million. Highlighted by colorful costumes, intense competition, and a lot of laughter, the day is a fun one consisting of sand, sun, and lots of bocce action. Round robin competition takes place in the morning, with the top two team son each court advancing to single elimination play until a winner is crowned in each of four divisions.
