This festival is a showcase of Philippine culture and performing arts. It is centered on cultural heritage, entertainment and networking. the one-day event showcases performing arts with presentations of colorful folk dances of the different regions of the Philippines by SAMAHAN’s graceful dancers accompanied with live music of the SAMAHAN Rondalla and Kulintang (gong) Music Ensembles. Featured, as well, is mainstream entertainment such as contemporary dances and vocals by local talents and martial arts exhibitions. Vendors will be selling delicious Filipino and Asian delicacies, arts and crafts, books. Admission to the Festival is FREE. It will be held at Balboa Park, at the corner of Park Boulevard and Presidents Way.
