Balboa Park - Infrastructure
Balboa Parks land infrastructure includes gardens, buildings, walking paths and space for recreational activity. The various buildings located in Balboa Park reflect a combination of Spanish Colonial Revival, European Spanish and New Spain-Mexico Spanish Colonial architectural styles. In addition, the park has nine unique gardens including San Diegos Rose Garden. Furthermore, road and highway development is a significant aspect of Balboa Park's history because of its central location in the heart of downtown San Diego.
