4th Annual Archives Month
Roaring San Diego
Fourth Annual “Archives Month” will commence on Tuesday, October 4th at 10:00 AM in the Lobby of the City Administration Building, everyone is welcome to participate in the opening ceremony! Each October, the Office of the City Clerk provides a month-long calendar of events for all to enjoy. This year we will host educational lectures, exhibit, and City archive tours about this year’s theme, the “Roaring 20s.” We will highlight some of the advantages and challenge’s citizens encountered, and how they were impacted during that era, with our wide array of distinguished speakers.
- Lecture Series will be available in a public-centric location at the Central Library’s “Mary Hollis” lecture room, 330 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101.
- Archives tours will be offered every Friday for the month of October.
- Roaring San Diego Exhibit will be up the entire month of October in the lobby of the City Administration Building, 202 C Street San Diego, CA 92101.
We hope to see many of you there as we explore, celebrate, and learn from our City’s rich history.
