Brendan Dentino serves as the Rules Committee Consultant and Director of Special Projects for Council President Elo-Rivera, as well as leads on environmental policy. Prior to the joining the Council District 9 office, Brendan served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy and an AmeriCorps VISTA in the City of San Diego’s Economic Development Department. He also has extensive experience in housing and land use policy as a former consultant and campaign director.

Brendan holds an M.S. in Integrated Design, Business, and Technology from the University of Southern California and a B.S. in Exercise Science from the George Washington University. In his free time, he enjoys drinking beer, reading, thinking about how things can be better, and watching his hometown Philadelphia Phillies. Brendan wants to be a writer when he grows up.
