T-Shirt commemorating 'Wheelchair Across America, A Path to What's Possible', donated by Ken Cummings, a San Diego resident who was tragically paralyzed by a spinal cord injury. He completed the cross-country trip in 1997, a 7,000-mile trip from San Diego to Orlando to San Francisco, a fund-raiser for spinal cord research. He could go 125 miles a day at 15 MPH powered by 24-volt batteries. He traveled with 3 people who drove a van, kept his batteries charged and performed other needed tasks.
