Certificate of appreciation in a 15 x 19-inch frame presented to the City of San Diego and its Human Resources Department for responding to the needs of many community agencies through the Emergency Employment Act of 1971. The city placed more than 200 employees in more than 125 voluntary human care agencies, having the effect of adding $1.9 million in human care services to those previously available to the citizens of San Diego. Presented on February 14, 1973, by United Way of San Diego County.
