Ukiyoe Japanese scarf 15 measuring inches square with an image of a woman reading a book. Ukiyoe is described as a style of painting and printmaking developed in Japan from the 17th to the 19th centuries and marked by the depiction of the leisure activities of ordinary people. This was donated by Japan on the occasion of a trade delegation visit in 1996.
