Wooden plaque, 11 x 13 inches with an antique gold plate inscribed in Spanish, which translates to: The Town Hall of Leon, Mexico, gives recognition and our sincere brotherhood and affection to the beautiful City of San Diego and it's Mayor, Maureen O'Connor, vowing that the bonds of friendship of these two cities are strengthened more intently. It is signed by Mayor Carlos Medina Plascencia, Town Clerk Facundo Castro Chavez, and Ricardo Sheffild, Leon Sister Cities Chairman. Leon has been a San Diego Sister City since 1969.
