The 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan's independence was marked in San Diego City Council and the Mayor's office issued a decision to build neighborhood-to-neighborhood relations. Mayor Sanders presented a signed declaration on building sister relations between Nasimi District and Switzer Highland neighborhood in San Diego. This was presented to the Mayor by Dr. Asim Mollazade, Chairman, Azeri delegation.
