Wooden 10 x 14-inch plaque with a copper plate commemorating San Diego Day in Yokohama, Japan, written in both Japanese and English. The designated date was April 14, 1989, which was Yokohama's centennial as a municipality and also the 130th anniversary of the opening of its port. This was presented by Ninachiro Hanamura, Chairman, Association for the Yokohama Exotic Showcase '89. Yokohama, Japan, has been a San Diego Sister City since 1957.
