Round 6-inch wooden plaque and information about the Foudre, an amphibious assault ship of the French Navy. Foudre is a French word meaning lightning. This was donated by the French Navy during the ship's visit to San Diego September 4-10, 1990, as part of their La Floutille 33F Sur Tous Les Horizons July - December 1990. Port visits included Brest, Fort de France, Panama, Acapulco, Clipperton, San Diego, Papeete, Mururoa, Valparaiso, Punta Arenas, Montevideo, Rio de Janeiro, Dakar and Casablanca.
