Wooden 9 x 12-inch plaque with the coat of arms of Cobh, Ireland, and the words - 'Comhairlo An Bhaile Choibh' (Town Council of Cobh). Cobh, known from 1850 until 1920 as Queenstown, is a tourist seaport town on the south coast of Cork County, Ireland. Cobh is on the south side of Great Island in Cork Harbour and is home to Ireland's only dedicated cruise terminal. This was presented to the Mayor by Joe Dowling, Councillor, on behalf of the Cobh U.D.C. at a Sister City Convention in 1997. Cobh is not a San Diego Sister City.
