Marble 14-inch sculpture from Vladivostock, Russia, with a metal model of a sailing ship on top and a 4-inch statue of a Russian sailor standing on the base. Vladivostock is the home port of the Russian Pacific Fleet and the largest Russian port on the Pacific Ocean. This was donated by City of Vladivostock to commemorate a ship's visit to San Diego in August 1990. Vladivostock became a San Diego Sister City in 1991.
