Little Qianlong 2-piece tea set, stored in a box from Taiwan's National Palace Museum. The set is named after the Qianlong Emperor, who had a keen interest in art and tea collections. He was the sixth emperor of the Manchu-led Qing Dynasty, and the fourth Qing emperor to rule over China proper. The fourth son of the Yongzheng Emperor, he reigned officially from 11 October 1735 to 8 February 1796. This was presented to the Mayor by Steve Hsia, Director General of Taipei, Taiwan.
