Lithograph of the USNS Sacagawea (T-AKE-2), 19 x 23 inches, personally autographed by the artist to Mayor Sanders. The USNS Sacagawea is a Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship, the third ship operated by the United States Navy to be named for Sacagawea, the Shoshone woman who acted as guide and interpreter for the Lewis and Clark Expedition. This was received in the mail from the Department of the Navy, Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Bath - San Diego Detachment, two months after she was launched in San Diego in June 2006.
