Wooden plaque with an invitation to the April 6, 2001, groundbreaking ceremony of the International Gateway of the Americas project, an artist's rendition, and the project's insignia which includes a bridge and the U.S. and Mexican flags, to depict the theme 'Bridging the Californias'. International Gateway is at the US - Mexico border in the community of San Ysidro and is a center of cultural exchange and commerce serving both the tourist and the resident population. This was donated by LandGrant Development.
