Symbolic topping-off bolt mounted on a circular base 5-1/2 inches in diameter with a mirrored plate. The plate is inscribed with: 'Topping Out Ceremony, First Interstate Plaza, Great West Life, Bowlen Holdings, Inc., Gray, Cary, Ames and Frye, M.H. Golden Company, Welton Becket Associates, Grubb and Ellis, February 22, 1984'. First Interstate Plaza is a 23-story building at 4th and B Streets in downtown San Diego. This was donated by First Interstate Plaza and the organizations involved in the construction.
