To launch condo sales for the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, an official announcement event took place February 16, 2006, where Hoobastank and the Ying Yang Twins performed at an exclusive, A-list party. This was presented to the Mayor at the San Diego Hard Rock Hotel Topping Off Ceremony on October 25, 2006, by the Condo-Hotel Sales Center.
