Silver-colored 2-inch medallion. Obverse has a design of a castle and plants and the caption reads: 'Camara Municipal de Castro Daire 1980'. Reverse design is of a man, goats, building and statue of Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo, a Portuguese explorer noted for his exploration of the west coast of North America on behalf of Spain. He was the first European explorer to navigate the coast of present day California. This was donated at the Cabrillo Festival.
